A few examples of promotional materials intended for healthcare professionals and patients.
These are the front pages of newsletters I have designed and produced. The Kogee Hemophilia Newsletter was done during my time at a pharmaceutical ad agency. Note that I was responsible for the layout and some drawings for the interior pages of the Kogee series, but did not create the illustrations for the covers.
Examples of an on-line promotional flyer for a charity event, a two-sided printed piece for a book publisher, a multi-page corporate brochure, and a promotional piece for a university course.
These cards were created in Adobe Illustrator. The Christmas cards were for personal use, and the two invitation cards were requested by clients. The illustration on the Save the Date card was done by hand, whereas all other drawings were created digitally.
A few samples of the hundreds of Illustrations done in coloured pencil and black fine marker for three self-published cookbooks by Canadian author Roz Weitzman.
Excerpts from the interior pages of a series of four science textbooks produced for Grade 5 students. Consistent visual themes were developed for the subjects of Astronomy, Geology, Oceanography, and Meteorology.
Drawings like these were created for my own personal enjoyment... often as a vision I had of a magazine spread to promote an album or a favourite band. They were rendered in a combination of pencil crayon and water colour on illustration board or water colour paper.
Years ago, I created a number of oil on canvas paintings of musicians who were part of my personal soundtrack while growing up. From the top: Justin Hayward, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gowan, and Roger Taylor.
Urban wildlife is a never-ending source of inspiration for photography. From the top: An Arctic Tern outside a waterfront restaurant in the town of Port Credit, a casual raccoon in my own backyard, baby Robins in a relocated nest in a hanging planter, a Peregrine falcon making a local nature store appearance, and a friendly police officer and horse making the neighbourhood rounds.
